Size And Construction:
Sizes: The Loewe hammock bag comes in three sizes mini, small and medium.
Material: Calf, Smooth Leather and Suede. Calf refers to soft grained calfskin, smooth leather is either classic calfskin or nappa calfskin and suede refers to calfskin and nubuck.
Colors: Beige, Brown, Green, Blue, Black, Pink, Red, Orange, Yellow and White.
Price: The mini starts at $1650, the small starts at $2300 and the medium starts at $2650
Exterior And Interior:
The hammock bag is a beautifully designed bag from the house of loewe and features a pebble leather design for the body of the bag while the straps and handles are of smooth leather. The leather in the front and back of the bag is more structured while the sides are softer and more squishy which helps give it a more casual appearance and also helps it rest on your hip instead of bouncing off of it in like in more structured bags. The bag comes in two different versions, one with the zipper and the other with the drawstring. The strap on this bag is adjustable and can be removed, so you can carry it by just the top handles.
On the inside there is a fabric lining with two slip pockets and there is also a clip which you can attach to a d-ring to give it more closure.
Other key points:
- The mini bag only comes with a drawstring and does not feature a clip and d ring on the inside. Although for some reason loewe states on their website that the mini has a hooked closure
- Hammock bags with the drawstring do not have an exterior zip pocket
- The soft grained calfskin bag with the zipper is only available in the medium size
- Clip and d ring are gold plated only for small bags and that too only those with the soft grained calfskin.. Bags of other materials and sizes seem to have only the silver color clip and d-ring
How Can You Wear This Bag?
The hammock bag can be worn as either a shoulder bag or crossbody and the bag itself can be modified in three different ways, you can either wear it with the front and back close together and the sides tucked in or with the sides pulled out or with the front and back separated apart. When the sides are pulled out it kind of looks like the celine phantom bag.

What Can You Fit Inside It?
In the mini you can fit like a small handheld purse, a smartphone, lipstick, a small water bottle and a small camera and a full size wallet. In the small , you could fit like a full frame DSLR, a small towel, two water bottles, phone, wallet and even a pair of shoes. In the medium you could fit everything that you can fit in the small plus maybe a makeup kit and a small notebook.
